Derek Berg - Loan Officer NMLS#2102717
Derek graduated from Wabasso High School in 2010 and attended South Dakota State University graduating in 2015 with a degree in agronomy. He previously worked as an agronomist and joined the lending staff at the Wanda State Bank in 2017. Derek has been around and involved in agriculture his entire life and wants to help you make your personal operation a success. Evan graduated from Red Rock Central in 2017 and attended South Dakota State University graduating in 2020 with a Bachelors degree in Ag Business and a minor in Ag Marketing. He has also been involved in production agriculture on his family's farm since a very young age. Jacob was born and raised in Wanda and graduated from Augustana College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.His career in the banking industry started in Sioux Falls before joining our staff in 2015 as a loan officer.Jacob’s knowledge goes beyond the financial part of farming as he helps in the field during the spring and fall.He is ready to assist you with any of your Agricultural, Commercial or Residential Real Estate needs.
Steve Dingels – Sr. Vice President/Chief Credit Officer
Steve graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Agricultural Education. After educating others in the agricultural field for two years, working for KLGR as a farm broadcaster, and working at The Wanda State Bank, he has over 30 years of experience in agribusiness. This knowledge has made him a vital part of the Wanda State Bank staff. Steve specializes in, but is not limited to, agricultural and commercial loans.
Lori graduated from Willmar with an accounting degree. She has worked for the Wanda State Bank for over 30 years in numerous departments and is enjoying her current position as an Ag Loan Officer. Being raised on a farm and surrounded by Agriculture her whole life, Lori is ready to assist you with any of your agricutural financing needs you may have.
Ted graduated from Ridgewater College and the University of Minnesota with a degree in Ag Industry and Marketing. Ted has been in crop and livestock production since 1998 in the Wabasso-Lamberton area. He has been in lending since 2006, with experience in Agriculture, Commercial, Consumer, and Real Estate Loans. Tim graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Animal Science and Ag business. He has worked as a loan officer with The Wanda State Bank for almost 20 years and became the Wanda State Bank President in 2015. Although Tim can meet all of your financing needs, he specializes in agricultural and commercial loans. His personal involvement in the agricultural field includes raising livestock and farming, and makes him an outstanding choice for your agricultural needs.
